Pam Wheelock

As vice president for University Services, Pam Wheelock is the chief operations officer for the University and is responsible for creating and sustaining a physical environment and service culture that supports and advances the teaching, research, and outreach missions of the University of Minnesota system.

VP Wheelock's career has spanned both the public and private sector, and she has a remarkable track record of success leading large and complex organizations. Whether serving as Minnesota's Finance Commissioner under Governor Jesse Ventura, or as deputy Mayor of St. Paul, or in senior leadership roles with Minnesota Sports and Entertainment, the parent company of the Minnesota Wild, Vice President Wheelock considers communication as a key to success.
