Teaching

With the University of Minnesota’s devotion to spreading awareness of ecological issues, all undergraduate students are required to take at least one course that meets an environmental theme. Joining such required academic topics as cultural diversity and international perspectives, over one hundred available environmentally oriented courses allow interdisciplinary faculty to inform students about the essential issues the world currently faces. With courses ranging from sustainable aquaculture to political ecology, students are given an introduction to environmental issues, all encouraging further attention throughout their undergraduate studies.
