Department of Central Security
The Department of Central Security (DCS) provides services to the University community and its guests. The department brings campus security under one roof. DCS' state-of-the-art monitoring center utilizes the latest video and audio equipment to provide you with the safest environment and most unobtrusive monitoring possible. DCS also provides key and lock services and lock repairs, installs and maintains alarm systems, closed circuit television (CCTV) security systems, network video surveillance systems and card access systems. We also maintain a private networked alarm central station for the University Police.
Emergency Management
The Department of Emergency Management (DEM) is dedicated to helping the University and the state it serves prepare for, respond to, recover from, and reduce the effects of disasters and potential disasters whether they are intentional, accidental, or natural. The Department accomplishes this mission through preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.
