Thank you for your efforts to Beautify the U!
It All Adds Up Energy Pledge Volunteers
- We'll be asking people to sign the It All Adds Up Energy Conservation Pledge at three stations across campus. We need volunteers to staff the stations, answer questions, and to look good in the really cool It All Adds Up t-shirt that you'll get for volunteering!

Projects Close to Home
When it comes to beautifying the University, there's no better place to start than your own office or work space. So this year, we're going to keep the beautification efforts close to home.
Organize a clean up of your department, work area or floor and we'll provide official Beautiful U Day cookies! Let us know the details of the work you'll be doing, and we'll deliver them right to your door.

Not sure of what to do? Here are some suggestions:
- Beautify Your Own Space
When was the last time you cleaned your office? Set aside a couple of hours on Beautiful U Day to clear the clutter from your desk, wipe the dust from the shelves, and get that sticky goo off your keyboard.
- Clean the back stairwells of your building
As part of It All Adds Up, we're asking people to abandon the elevator and to take the stairs whenever possible. To make the journey up and down the stair more enjoyable, spend some time cleaning the back stairwells of your building.
- Pick Cigarette Butts
While some people seem to understand how far 20 feet from a door is, they still have not gotten the message that the world is not their ashtray. Get a group together to sweep up the cigarette butts outside your building.
- Sweep and clean bicycle racks
With the spring upon, sweep out the sand and rake away the leaves and get the bicycle racks ready for another biking season.
